Description
Seeking sources from interested Service Disabled Veteran-Owned companies. This is not a solicitation. NAICS code 562998 applies. Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to remove and replace three (3) existing 75/100 gallon generator day tanks with new 100 gallon day tanks with 150% open hull rupture basins. The tanks are located in the C-Northeast generator room, B-South generator room and D-Wing generator room in Building 1 of the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center Indianapolis, IN 46202. The contractor shall be experienced in this type of fuel oil tank/pipe/generator work and submit qualifications. The contractor shall provide temporary piping directly from the underground fuel oil tank to the generator set before the day tank is changed out so that the emergency generator set will have fuel at all times. Contractor to field verify field conditions prior to bidding. The VA will supply the new double wall day tanks. Contractor to submit price to install for the three locations listed above. New day tanks to be Tramont Corporation model UTRS-100, with rupture basin for TRS/E/X -100, fuel in basin switch, ?? NPT check Valve, automatic duplex pumping system, 2? NPT, mushroom style screened atmospheric vent cap, 3? NPT emergency pressure relief vent cap. The contractor shall turn over a complete operating package and will demonstrate that the new day tanks operate properly with a 30 min test to the corresponding emergency generator set.
