Description

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), including the Armed Forces Radiobiological Research Institute (AFRRI), is seeking to identify small business that would be able to deliver dry ice blocks and pellets. The contractor will be required to deliver dry ice blocks and pellets on Mondays and Thursdays before 7:30 a.m. EST to USUHS, AFRRI and the Stanley Foundation. All three locations are located on the National Naval Medical Campus in Bethesda, MD. The estimated amount of dry ice blocks to be delivered over the one year performance period is 9,100 lbs, and the estimated amount of dry ice pellets to be delivered is 106,900 lbs. Only small businesses that are capable and interested should reply. Please provide a brief capability statement of past or current contracts that you provide reoccurring dry ice deliveries and your company?s DUNS number. This requirement is under NAICS code 424690-Other Chemical and Allied Products Merchant Wholesalers, size standard in the number of employees is 100. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for a one year period to begin on October 01, 2006 and end on September 30, 2007.
