Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Hydrological Instrumentation Facility (HIF) at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi intends to make award on a sole source basis, to C.C. Lynch & Associates, Inc., Pass Christian, MS to purchase 2 ISCO ADFM Pro20-HTI box's and power converters. The HIF Hydrologic instruments are sold and rented to district and field sites all over the nation to support their field data collection activities. The ISCO equipment is needed for immediate deployment in Texas for monitoring reservoir outflow as part of the Hurricacane Katrina/Rita Gage Harding project.. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about August 15, 2006 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334513. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
