- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm, fixed-price offers are requested under Request for Quotations (RFQ) NBCR06036. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 721110 (Hotels and Motels except Casino Hotels), business size standard of $6.5 Million in annual receipts. This document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12. THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS ARE INCOROPORATED BY REFERENCE AND ARE THEREFORE APPLICABLE TO THIS ACQUISITION: 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS--COMMERCIAL ITEMS 52.212-2, EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS 52.212-3, OFFERORS PRESENTATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS--COMMERCIAL ITEMS 52.212-4, CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS--COMMERCIAL ITEMS. OFFEROR SHOULD REFERENCE ADDITIONAL ADDENDA INFORMATION PROVIDED BELOW REGARDING THE EVALUATION OF OFFER, AND INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFEROR. ONLY THOSE OFFERS CONFORMING TO THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CONSIDERED. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. REQUIREMENT: The National Invasive Species Council is conducting an Invasive Species Advisory Committee Meeting on September 12-13, 2006. LODGING: 20 rooms on September 11; 20 rooms on September 12; 10 rooms on September 13. REFRESHMENTS: AM & PM break refreshments for meeting attendees and presenters for both days of the meeting on September 12-13. Working Lunch with Fruit Punch and Lemonade for attendees on September 12 & 13. AUDIO/VISUAL SERVICES: LCD projector and comptatible laptop, projection screen, line level feed for court reporter, microphone system, and real-time internet connection on September 12 & 13. Contractor must provide itemized invoice of services actually provided. ROOM RENTAL: Meeting Room Rental on September 12 & 13. Breakout Room Rental on September 12 - two smaller conference rooms for subcommittee break-out session. AD HOC ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES: copying, faxing, individual internet access, etc. Only those services actually performed by vendor and used by DOI will be paid. Vendor must provide itemized invoice for those services actually provided. Award shall be made to the offeror whose quotation is determined to represent the best value to the Government. All responsible offerors may submit a quotation that, if timely received, shall be considered for award. Notification of changes shall be made only via FedBizOpps.
