Description

The Office of Surface Mining intends to execute an award under other than full and open competition-sole source basis to: Reprographic Designs, Katy, TX. The item required is a Table Top Scanner which will consist of: (1) Table top (copy board ) size of at least 58" x 88" (2) 1.1GB scan head (3) vacuum and magnetic copy board (4) scan speed selection (5) ability to scan a 58" wide map at 250dpi (6) A DPI PER MAP WIDTH SCAN EQUAL TO 14,000 PIXELS/MAP WIDTH IN INCHES (7) frame correction (8) installation and training (9) autofocus (10) table moves vs. movement of map (11) ability to scan maps through Plexiglas (12) high frequency cold cathode lights (13) saves in black or white, grayscale or up to 48 bit color tiff format. This notice is not a request for proposals. However, all proposals or responses received will be considered by solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitations will be issued as a result of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
