- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Logistics and Material Readiness, and in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source a contract for services t o Logistics Management Institute (LMI), 2000 Corporate Ridge, McLean, Virginia 22102. The contract provides for technical and analytical support services to the Multi National Forces Iraq for the identification and analysis of the Iraqi Ministry of Def ense (MOD) and Ministry of Interior (MOI) logistics and sustainment support capabilities. The support will result in the identification of capability gaps and determination of specific actions, including associated estimated costs, that DoD could take to enable and support the further development of these capabilities within MOD and MOI in order to achieve self reliance. These actions are critical to transition the sustainment capabilities of the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) from the U.S. Government to the Government of Iraq (GOI). The period of performance is for one year. No option years are anticipated.
