Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and qualified supervision necessary to remove existing nurse call system to include cables and conduit associated with the system and install government furnished Hill-Rom Nurse Call System (replacing the existing obsolete system), as well repair and paint the penetrations and openings from demolition to match existing color of the wall, as required by the project drawings, specifications and field verification. This includes the installation of cable (1000 ft furnished by government, any additional cable required shall be furnished by contractor), conduit, j-boxes, devices, equipment, termination, and contacting Hill Rom for system testing. This work shall be performed during off hours (starting after 4:30PM weekdays and 6:00 AM on Saturdays until 6:00AM on Monday). This procurement has been set-aside 100% for award to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Solicitation packages will be available after 8/28/06. There will be a non-refundable $35.00 bid package fee. Request for solicitation package must be in writing on company letterhead and mailed, along with bid package fee to VA Medical Center Spokane, WA, Attn: Brian Thomas (90C), 4815 N Assembly St, Spokane, WA 99205. Bids are due no later than 2:00pm local time on September 28, 2006 in Building 5 Room 107, VA Medical Center Spokane, WA, 4815 N Assembly St, Spokane, WA 99205.
