Description

Project consists of installing a new, wood trussed, metal roof system over existing flat roof for the Northern California Service Center's Hotshots Barracks #1. Work shall include, but not limited to: modifying the existing roof as needed for the new roof system, installing insulation over the existing roof, installing vent holes, installing roof access openings, installing gable end vents, installing sills, trusses, plywood, blocking; extending existing vents up and through the new roof, installing the metal roofing, flashing; installing metal facia and all other work necessary for a complete and weatherproof roof system. LOCATION: Northern California Service Center, Redding, California. PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. BONDING: Bonding will be required of awarded contractor at time of award. This project is being advertised under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is open to small and large businesses. CONTRACT TIME: 30 calendar days, with an estimated start work date of September 25, 2006. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about August 25, 2006. VENDOR REQUIREMENTS: All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract.
