- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2840-01-034-5821, 0012860241, Coupling, Outer Ring. This is a configuration control item sole source to General Electric (99207), P/N: 5041T67P02, Unrestricted. Item is a Navy identified Critical Safety Item. ABVS applies. FOB Origin. Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Quantity: 12 each with 100% quantity option. All pieces are to be delivered to New Cumberland, PA with a delivery of 266 DARO or best possible delivery. Solicitation issue date is August 11, 2006 with a closing date of August 25, 2006. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?
