- The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for an electrically powered belt conveyor system comprised of three free standing 18 inch belt conveyors and one (1), ten (10) feet long, 18 inches wide gravity conveyor p er purchase description and drawings. FOB destination delivery. Estimated issue date of solicitation is August 17, 2006. The proposed contract is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. (See Numbered Notes 1). This solicitation will be issued electro nically in accordance with far 4.502 and 5.102. Therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it ON OR AFTER THE STATED ISSUE DATE by accessing this notice at this website or by accessing it at the Army Acquisi tion Business Web Site, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the solicitation via this website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt may render quote nonresponsive and resul t in the rejection of same.
