Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requrested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W911SA-06-T-0075 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is set aside for small businesses under NAICS 334519 with the small business size standard of 500 employees. (NOTE: The NAICS indentified above must be included on the CCR registration of a contractor before award can be made. If the NAICS code is not identified by the CCR registration of a contractor, the contractor may be eliminated from cons ideration.) A firm fixed price contract is anticipated for 25 Aug 06 with a delivery date of 20 Oct 06. NOTE: CONTRACTOR WILL INCLUDE ONE PRICE FOR ALL ITEMS LISTED. CLIN 0001: Truck Chassis Dynamometer. The following lines are the required compone nts to the Truck Chassis: Two Days of On-Site Training; Smartach RPM system with inductive pick-up and optical pick-up; MD-IWS Weather Station Intergrated with Dynamometer; Vehicle Pull Down Kit, Color Printer, Pressure Sensor (VAC-BOOST), Diesel Smoke Op acity Meter, Pentium IV Desktop Computer with 17 CRT Monitor, Wireless Touchscreen Interface OR will accept a cabled verison if this better technology, Roll Around Shop Computer Cabinet with Monitor Stand and Keyboard Tray, Vehicle Tie-Down Kit, Ramps, Li fetime Warranty on Frame, 12 Month Warranty on all other Componets, Free Technical Support, Above Ground Installation Equipment (On-site Equipment Installation and Set-up). PARTIES INTERESTED IN RESPONDING TO RFQ may submit their quote in accordance with standard commercial practice (i.e. quote form, letterhead, etc.) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOL LOWING: Solicitation number; offerors complete mailing and remittance addresses; discount terms; unit price and extended total CLIN of dynamometer system with ALL components, DUNS number; and COMPLETED FAR 52.212-3 Alt I, and DFARS 252.212-7000.
