Description

The Fuel Tank Demolition and Relocation Project for the Cleveland National Forest is located in San Diego County, California. The project consists of the decommissioning, removal and recycling or disposal of one 1,000 gallon and one 500 gallon above ground, steel fuel storage tanks on the Cleveland National Forest. The project also includes the relocation of electrical service at Oak Grove. The work sites are located at Henshaw Fire Station and Oak Grove Fire Station. Henshaw Fire Station: From San Diego, CA, travel north on Interstate 15 for approximately 40 miles to Pala, and take the State Highway 76 exit. Turn right and travel east for approximately 24 miles to the Henshaw Fire Station on the west side of the road. Oak Grove Fire Station: From San Diego, CA, travel north on Interstate 15 for approximately 50 miles to Temecula and take the State Highway 79 South exit. Turn right and travel east for approximately 20 miles to the Oak Grove Fire Station on the south side of the road. Site address: 37560 Highway 79 South, Warner Springs, CA 92086. The recommended contract time is 25 calendar days. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractors Registry BEFORE a proposal is submitted. Proposals will not be considered without a CCR number. Registration can be done online at http://www.ccr.gov. Estimated price range is less than $25,000. NAICS code 238990 Size Standard $13.0 million. Solicitation Package will be posted in approximately 15 days. Offer due by noon September 14, 2006.
