- NAVSEA Indian Head Division has a requirement for a Fabric Heat Treat Furnace. For our GOCO facility in Rocket Center, West Virginia. Specifications will be provided with the RFP. This requirement is full and open competition. Hubzone preference 10%. The small business size standard for this procurement is 500 employees, with a NAICS code of 333994, and an FSC code of 4430. If you wish to receive notification of the RFP's posting, you must e-mail the following information directly to Michael L. Burch, @ michael.burch@navy.mil requesting a copy of Solicitation N00174-06-R-0058, in the subject line, and include name of POC, organization name, address, telephone, fax number, and your e-mail address in the body of your e-mail. Use your e-mail read notification to confirm the Contract Specialist's receipt of your request. The government is not responsible for any undelivered e-mail transmissions. It is the requestor's responsibility to periodically check the IHDIV Contracts Division website for current status of the RFP, and any amendments. Once the RFP has been issued on the internet, the Contract Specialist will send an e-mail message to the requestors, informing them that the RFP is now available for download off the internet. Copies of the issued RFP can only be obtained by downloading it from the IHDIV Contracts Division website at http://www.ih.navy.mil/contracts. Copies of the RFP will not be e-mailed, faxed, mailed, or provided in person. These types of requests WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED. NAVSEA, IHDIV shall not receive, or accept any form of electronic proposals as a result of this RFP. In responding to any RFP, you must fill it out fully, or your proposal will not be considered. You may fax your quote to 301-744-6546, or mail it to the address provided above to my attn., at Bldg. 1558. All offerors will be ineligible for award, unless they have registered in the DOD's Central Contractor Registration database (CCR). The web address is www.ccr.gov. All quotes are subject to FAR clause 52.215-1, Instruction to Offerors Competitive Acquisition (OCT 1997). The approximate issuance date for this RFP is 24 August, 2006.
