Description
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that portable chemical toilet services and wash station services are performed at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado and at Farish Memorial Park (approximately 35 miles northwest of the Academy) in a manner that will maintain a sanitary condition, and present a clean, and neat appearance. It is the Government?s intention to award a Firm-Fixed Price commercial service contract by Invitation for Bid. Period of Performance: The proposed period of performance includes basic year from date of award, and four (4) one-year option periods extending through 30 September 2011. Competition: This requirement will be 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 562991, Septic Tank and Related Services, with a small business size standard of $6,500,000.00. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 25 Aug 2006 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page at http://www.fbo.gov. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION WILL NOT BE HONORED AND VOICE MESSAGES WILL NOT BE RETURNED. Due date for receipt of offers will be indicated in the solicitation document when it is released. Note: Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted to FBO, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates or amendments. Contractor submitted documents must clearly identify the requested solicitation number, your U.S. Postal address, a point of contact, phone number, fax number, email address, and Cage Code. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (http://www.ccr.gov/). Offerors not registered with CCR may be considered non-responsive and may not be considered in the evaluation. Effective 01 Jan 2005, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires the use of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission process (https://orca.bpn.gov/). Any prospective contractor must be registered in ORCA in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet (www.dnb.com).
