Description
This requirement is subject to the availability of funds, FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. Buckley Air Force Base, CO has a requirement to provide a courier service for the 460th Medical Group. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, material, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform the following: pickup, secure, transport, and deliver medication prescription refills from the United States Air Force Academy Pharmacy Refill Center Pick-up Area, Building 8118, Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado to the 460th Medical Group Pharmacy Drop-off Area, 541 Norfolk Ave, Aurora, Colorado. The upcoming RFQ will be available on the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. The RFQ will be available on or about 15 August 2006. The RFQ will close on or about 29 August 2006 with an anticipated award date of 1 October 2006. The proposed requirement will be a small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This acquisition will be accomplished utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed price type contract with a base year and four option years. Basis of award will be the evaluation factors as stated in FAR 52.212-2. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov/) Contractors must submit their representation and certification at the Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA). (See Internet site: http://orca.bpn.gov) The awardee will be required to submit their invoice via WAWF (See Internet Site: http://www.wawftraining.com. When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting form this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard is 492110, 1,500 employees.
