Description

Contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision necessary for construction of the project entitled, "Tuckpointing/Lightning Protection, Phase II", at the DVA Medical Center, Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA, in accordance with the developed plans and specifications. Contractor to perform all work indicated for elevations 1, 7, 7A, 8, 8A, 8B, 8C, 9, 9A, 32 and 33 with some bid alternates included. Cost range is between $250,000 to $500,000. NAICS Code 238140 with a size standard of $13.0 million. This procurement is unrestricted. Electronic solicitation documents to include Invitation for Bid, Contract Forms, specifications and drawings will be available in electronic format only through the VA's website at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov or Fed Biz Opps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will be available on August 22, 2006. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for September 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., local time. Bid opening date is September 21, 2006 at 3:00 p.m., local time.
