Description: Coeur dAlene River Ranger District, Shoshone County, Idaho. Improvement work to Shoshone Park and stream improvement work to the South Fork of the Coeur dAlene River flowing through the park. This work will consist of removal of earthen material, concrete cribbing, and restoring the channel and floodplain to a more functional state. Stream bank protection and gradient control structures such as Cover Logs, J-hook Vanes, Rock Cross Vanes, and Rock Vanes will be installed. Construction disturbance in Shoshone Park shall be kept to a minimum. Estimated Government price range between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work of September 6, 2006 with estimated contract time of 30 calendar days. Pre-bid tour August 18, 2006 at 0800 at the Silver Valley Office located at 173 Commerce Drive, Smelterville, ID.
