- Correction: The anouncement posted in the FBO on March 7, 2005 and modified on March 29, 2005 is amended as follows: the date and time for receipt of the SF330 is extended to no later than May 5, 2005, 3:00 p.m. local time.ol and scheduling. 5.) Firm location/presence in the Republic of Panama. 6.) Computer capability. Contractor and subcontractors must be able to comply with Smithsonian Institution standards for documentation, drawings and specifications. Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required. The successful firm will be expected to sign a standard, unmodified, Smithsonian A/E contract. Interested, qualified firms are invited to submit completed Standard Form 330 ( http://www.acec.org/education/sf330form.pdf ) and other appropriate data--ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE WRITTEN IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE--to Engineering and Design Division, Office of Facilities Engineering and Operations, Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, E.S. Tupper Research and Conference Center, Bldg. # 362, Panama City, Rep. of Panama, no later than 3:00 PM on the 30th calendar day after the publication of this notice, or on the next business day if the thirtieth calendar day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday. Phone number is (507) 212-8049. For Holiday purposes the applicable one will be those of the Republic of Panama. Failure to submit SF 330 form will render the submission unacceptable. Responding firms are required to clearly identify tasks to be performed in-house and those to be subcontracted. Firms must submit the names and supporting qualifications of all subcontractors. Fax submissions will NOT be accepted. Preface submission with an attached original and a loose copy of a brief letter on company letterhead. The Smithsonian will dispose of submitted material 60 days after receipt unless a specific written request is made for its return. Returns will be at the expense of the firm submitting the information. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. ALL DOCUMENTATION MUST BE WRITTEN IN ENGLISH FOR PROPER REVIEW AND CONSIDERATION. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-MAR-2005).
