- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed-price contract for furnishing, installation and testing of two fish truck hauling tanks and associated equipment. Install one system (tank and associated equipment) for each of the two Government-furnished fish hauling trucks. More specific requirements are listed below. The trucks with installed tanks will be delivered to the Tracy Fish Collection Facility, which is located nine miles from Tracy CA. The NAICS Code is: 332420. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business concerns only. Solicitation 06SP204173 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 21, 2006. The date for receipt of proposals will be approximately September 21, 2006. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website, no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. Questions concerning this solicitation should be directed to Don Neal by email at dneal@mp.usbr.gov. ____________________________________________ Additional Requirement Details: The fish truck hauling tanks to be used to transport water with fish and debris from the Tracy Fish Collection Facilities to various fish release sites. Each fish truck hauling tank to have a 2600 gallon minimum capacity when filled to the top of the tank. Provide and install a compressed air supply and distribution system for each fish hauling truck tank. The compressed air supply and distribution system to supply air to its three air stones mounted inside the hauling tank, and also supply air for operating the knife gate and the butterfly valve. Each compressed air system to include, but not be limited to, the following: air compressor, safety valve, receiver tanks, check valves, high pressure air regulator, air compressor pressure switch, electric operated solenoid valve, air filters, pressure gauge, needle valve flowmeters, isolation valves, air stones, air hoses, air lines, fittings, couplings, electrical system, and mounting systems. Electrical controls and equipment to operate off the 12-volt DC truck power source. Mount and wire the electrical switches and warning/operating indicating lights inside the truck cab. Provide and install an oxygen supply and distribution system for each fish hauling truck tank. The oxygen supply and distribution system to supply oxygen to its three air stones mounted inside the hauling tank. Each oxygen supply and distribution system to include, but not be limited to, the following: removable pallet type oxygen bottle holder (sized to contain the four type "S" oxygen cylinders provide by others), high pressure flexible pigtail lines, rigid oxygen manifold line, low pressure warning pressure switch, high pressure oxygen regulator, electric operated solenoid valve, inline filter, pressure gauge, needle valve flowmeters, isolation valves, check valves, air stones, air hoses, air lines, fittings, couplings, electrical system, and mounting systems. Electrical controls and equipment to operate off the 12-volt DC truck power source. Mount and wire the electrical switches and warning/operating indicating lights inside the truck cab.
