Description

This is a one-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity project with option to renew for 4 additional years not to exceed $200,000. The contractor shall create, improve and/or enhance wildlife habitat on forested Bureau of Land Management lands which girdling trees within the live crown to create dead topped trees, topping trees at varying heights above ground to create snags that mimic wind broken trees, girdling trees at the base to create snags with full crowns, falling trees to create large coarse wood and releasing individual selected trees with high wildlife value from site competition. Project sites are located in Tillamook, Mary's Peak and Cascades Resource Areas, Salem District, Oregon. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is August 17, 2006. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. See Numbered Note(s): 1.
