- Description
- The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center intends to negotiate a contract for surveying 2400 health care providers concerning their understanding of, belief in, and experience with Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) research. Six hundred (600) cases each will be randomly selected from professional listings of acupuncturists, naturopaths, and general internists and rheumatologists. They will be mailed (2 day UPS) a 12 page self-administered questionnaire together with a cover letter, $20 incentive, fact sheet, and postage paid return envelope. The contractor will participate in question development and take complete responsibility for the formatting and printing of the questionnaire. In addition, they will do the data entry and preliminary data cleaning of the data set. Deliverables from contractor include the final questionnaire, data set, frequency counts, codebook, and the associated field report. The contract performance period is for one year with one-year additional option period. Sources that believe they are capable of these requirements should provide proof of their ability via email to Jearnean Jackson at jjackson@cc.nih.gov. Only email will be accepted for potential sources. Contract performance period is for one year beginning August 22, 2006 or one year from date of award.
