Description

The project consists of performing electrical and mechanical surveys for lightning grounding analysis of lookout and recreational rental sites throughout the Fremont-Winema National Forests. This includes preparing a recommendation report and developing grounding design plans for construction. The Contractor shall submit separate reports, construction plans, and specifications for each site. Construction of the grounding system is not included in this contract. Schedule of Items includes 8 base bid items (locations) and three additive bid items (locations). The resultant contract is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. This contract is anticipated to be set up as a firm-fixed price contract. Since the best months for analysis of the locations are August and September, contract time will be set at 545 days in case the evaluations are not able to be completed this year due to the issuance date. SF-330s THAT ARE LISTED ON THE CORE OF ENGINEERS DATABASE SHALL BE THE SOURCE OF CONTRACTORS THAT WILL BE EVALUATED FOR PURPOSE OF AWARDING THE RESULTANT CONTRACT.
