Description

U.S. Army RDECOM Acquisition Center, Edgewood Division, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, the procurement of a Diveable Personal Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Decontamination Kit to be developed and manufactured by Techno logy Solutions Group International (TSGI). Under the proposed acquisition, TSGI will modify their existing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Special Purpose Event Expedient Decontamination System (SPEEDS") to support submersible individual deployment and ad dress pressure and waterproof requirements associated with diving operations. The media used in the kit is proprietary data developed by TSGI and successfully field tested with users. Kit procedures provide the opportunity for containing and mitigating phy sical contaminates as well as ensuring personnel safety. Anticipated award date is 18 August 2006. The policies and procedures set forth in FAR Part 12 will be used for this procurement. Period of performance is anticipated to be 12 months. The contract or shall deliver one kit. Note 22 applies.
