- The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service intends to procure the following items or equal from Fuji Film: YBLAS3000CAM LAS-3000 Camera YBLAS3000LENS Fujinon Lens VRF43LMD YBLAS3000IDX4 LAS-3000 Intelligent Dark YBLAS3000FLTCH Filter Changer for LAS-30 YBLAS3000FLTGFP 510DF10 long Pass Filter YBLAS3000FLT515 Y515 Filter for LAS-3000 YBLAS3000FLTEB 605 DF40 EtBr Filter YBLAS3000WLI White Light Illuminator YBLAS3000UVI UV Illuminator YBLAS3000TRUVDIA UV DIA Tray for LAS-30 YBLAS3000TRWLDIA White LIght DIA Tray YBLAS3000TRNP3 NP-3 Tray for LAS-3000 YBLAS3000TREPI EPI Tray for LAS-3000 Image Reader Software System must be able to read data from an existing FUJI LAS-1000 that was damaged during Hurrican Katrina. The government has over 6 years of research data that the recovery of is vital to existing reasearch. . These items will be delivered FOB Destination. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 2006-4431-023 is being issued as an Invitation for Bid. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. Offerors are to provide a bid for the following: ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A BID FOR CONSIDERATION. Bid prices shall include all necessary labor, parts, materials, and transportation necessary to delivered FOB Destination a Fuji Imaging system LAS-3000 or equal to USDA, ARS, 1100 Robert E. Lee Road, New Orleans, LA. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. Also, the full text of a clause may be accessed electronically at this/these address(es): www.arnet.gov/far/. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, Far 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212.4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. All systems and components shall be provided with a one (1) year warranty from the time of owner?s acceptance. The warranty shall cover all parts, labor and material. Offers are to include a 30 calendar day acceptance period. All bids are due by 3:00 (CST), August 15, 2006, at the USDA, ARS, MSA, Procurement Assistance Office, 141 Experiment Station Road, P.O. Box 225, Stoneville, MS 38776-0225.
