Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Hydrological Instrumentation Facility (HIF) at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi intends to make award on a sole source basis, to SONTEK/YSI Inc.,San Diego,CA for water quality monitors and accessories. The HIF Hydrologic instruments are sold and rented to district and field sites all over the nation to support their field data collection activities. The HIF's customer base determines the demand for equipment purchased. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about August 1, 2006 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold Procedures. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334513. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.
