Description
The 77 Aeronautical Systems Group, Contracting Division (77 AESG/PSK), intends to issue a 100% small business set-aside Firm Fixed Price (FFP) solicitation for the Advanced Concept Ejection Seat II (ACES II) Common Parachute Container Kit. NSN: 1670K1400856AMH; Noun: Kit-Parachute Container, ACES II; P/N: J119174-503; NAICS Code: 336413. THE REQUIREMENT SHALL CONTAIN SIGNIFICANT TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. THE KIT CONTAINS AN ACES II RECOVERY PARACHUTE CONTAINER ASSEMBLY WHICH HAS CRITICAL CHARACTERISTICS/ DIMENSIONS/COMPONENTS THAT ARE SHOWN IN THE DRAWINGS. First Article Government Testing is required for a quantity of one (1) each to be delivered 60 days from date of contract award. First Article approval includes validation and verification testing as well as Form, Fit and Function testing at a designated sled test facility. Production quantity is 500 each. Proposed delivery is 150 each per month and is to commence 120 days from receipt of first article approval. Ship/To is FB2065, Robins AFB, GA. FOB is Destination. Inspection & Acceptance will be Origin. Packaging Requirements shall be IAW AFMCFARS 5352.247-9009, Military Packaging and Marking and Appendix D of MIL-STD-2073-1D. Government Drawings/Specifications: Drawings will be available from Warner Robins AFB. PLEASE REVIEW REMARKS/NOTES ON ENGINEERING DATA LIST, FORM 0-762: THIS REQUIREMENT CONTAINS DRAWINGS THAT ARE PROPRIETARY TO GOODRICH (CAGE CODE 51998) 1847-037 (Doubler), 1847-038 (Torque Tube Assembly) and 1847-043 (Bolt, Torque Tube). THE KIT PARTS MADE TO THESE DRAWINGS MUST BE PROCURED FROM GOODRICH. Required drawings and all supporting specifications are listed on the Engineering Data Lists. For a copy of the Engineering Data List (EDL), WR-ACC/TIL Form 0-762 dated 12 Jun 06 (1 page), please provide a written request via fax or e-mail to the Buyer and PCO and a copy will be e-mailed/faxed. EXORT CONTROLLED INFORMATION: If your Company qualifies to access this information under the Joint Certification Program (DD 2345 certification, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, Defense Logistics Services Center, Battle Creek, Michigan, USA; http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/) and agree to handle the data in accordance with the paragraph below entitled EXPORT CONTROLLED INFORMATION, you are required to furnish the following information in order to obtain a User Name and Password to access the information electronically via the Internet: REQUIRED INFORMATION: (1) Solicitation Number ; (2) Company Name; (3) Certification Number (DD 2345 block 7.b.); (4) CAGE Code; (5) Data Custodian (a) Name; (b) Title; and (c) Address; and (d) telephone (including area code). Include the following statement: "I/We agree to handle the requested technical data in accordance with applicable published restrictions". It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on 4 Aug 06 with proposal due on 8 Sep 2006. Estimated date of award is 25 Sep 2006. Award will be evaluated using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures. Any concerns regarding this acquisition may be directed to the Contracting Officer.
