Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department Philadelphia Division intends to procure, on an other than full and open competitive basis, analog/digital copiers with LAN capabilities; networkable multi-functional devices (MFD) with the capacity to copy, print, fax and scan; deployable cases; and vendor support on a worldwide basis to include, maintenance, training, technical assistance, spare parts and supplies required to maintain copier equipment in support of the Shipboard Multipurpose Copier Program (SMCP). The requisite equipment is for use on surface and sub-surface vessels of the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command (MSC), afloat elements of the U.S. Fleet Marine Forces (FMF) and other deployable units of the Federal Government. The support services are required to be provided on a CONUS and OCONUS basis. The requirement will be accomplished through a modification which will extend the existing Contract N00140-00-D-H034 with Xerox Corporation of McLean, VA 22102. The extension is being processed on a sole source basis to Xerox Corporation under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The extension will cover the period of performance beginning 1 October 2006 and ending 30 September 2007. The applicable NAICS Code is 423420 with a size standard of 500 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, but THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all requests with thirty (30) days after the date of the publication of this synopsis. The Government will not pay for information received.
