Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: C/A Dip Loop 63# & 3 Coax (Special OCA), D.G. O?Brien part number 1155413 101, (Qty. 3) in support of the Advanced Communications Mast (ACM). Required delivery is 12 ? 14 Wks. after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a Firm Fixed price contract with D.G. O?Brien. They are the only known source for these items because it is the only cable assembly available that meets all of the mandatory ACM requirements, including: RF performance, number and type of conductors, mechnical construction, and environmental robustness. The RF performance of the diploop, and it?s ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions is critical for successful operation of ACM. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. Size standard is 750 employees. Solicitation N66604-06-R-4314 will be released on or about 08/10/06.
