Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: CLIN 0001: (1 EACH) Purchase and delivery of a vibration system (shaker system) to include the following items: (1) 60 x 60 inch magnesium head expander including external load support and guidance; (2) vibration control software, mixed-mode, sine on-random, random on random, and sine and random on random; (3) shock synthesis waveform generation and SRS cont rol software with simultaneous data acquisition and reduction during a shaker test; (4) random vibration control software including analyzer mode acquisition and real-time displays to reduce date during closed loop control tests; (5) Linux PC with 512 MB R AM, 2.5 GHZ P4 CPU, 80 GB disk, 3.5 floppy, CD-RW drive, 2 ethernet ports, 2 serial ports, 1 parallel port, 2 USB ports; and; (6) 20-inch high resolution LCD color display. CLIN 0002: (1 EACH) Purchase and delivery of an industrial vibration control, des ktop acquisition / control peripheral (ACP) with 8 input channels, 1 output channel, chasis capable of housing up to 38 input channels; internal MDSP3 board (200 MHZ), to include a 10 input channel expansion card. CLIN 0003: (1 EACH) Non-personal service requirement for the following services: This statement of work describes the minimum Government requirements for non-personal technical, maintenance and administrative services, which are required for the installation of a new Shaker System which will be located at the West Desert Test Center, U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), Dugway, Utah 84022. This requriement is to acquire a new Shaker System to replace the MB C210 system. The new Shaker System will be used to support various upcoming tests at Dugway Proving Ground. WORK LOCATION: Installation of the new Shaker System will be performed at the area known as Carr Facility, within buildings 3131 and 3133, Dugway, Utah. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to bring the necessary tools and analytical equipment to perform the work. The contractor is responsible for transportation from his place of business to Carr Facility and back again. WORK REQUIREMENTS: The work will consist of first: removal of the MB C210 Shaker System, along wi th all accessories for that system. Those accessories consist of: (1) The MB 210 Shaker head; (2) The oil cooling system; (3) The control package for the vertical head expander; (4) The vertical head expander; (5) The amplifier used for the MB C210 Shake r head; (6) The Slip Table used for the MB C210. Second, the work will consist of installation of a new Shaker System and Vibration Contoller with similar attributes of a Ling 4022, namely, 38,000 force pound capability, at least a two inch displacement, capable of vertical or horizontal operation, water or air cooled, and high pressure oil lubricated. Third: A slip table with similar attributes to a Team slip table with either high pressure oil film or bearings. Fourth: A vertical head expander and in terface connection between the shaker head and the slip table. Fifth: A new amplifier with at least up to 300,000 watt capability. Sixth: The cooling system will, if needed, connect into the existing cooling package used with the current Ling 4022. Se venth: A new high pressure oil lubrication system will be installed for the new Shaker System. FURTHER REQUIREMENTS: All systems will be tested to verify serviceability to the satisfaction of the Government prior to payment. There is equipment and pers onnel available at the work site to assist with the requirement, namely, cranes, hoists and trucks. All other necessary tools and analytical equipment will be provided by the contractor. CLIN 0004: (1 EACH) Personnel Reporting System requirement per the local clause. Prices must include shipping cost to Accountable Property Officer; Building 5464; Dugway UT 84022-5000 (FOB: Destination). This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ W911S6-06-T-0121 for a firm-fixed priced amount. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business Concers. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). North American Industrial Classification Standard 33911 applies to this procurement. NOTE: This requirement is subject to the availability of funding in accordance with FAR 52.232-18.
