Description

Vandenberg AFB, California intends to award a sole source contract to Trane to furnish the following: Services, non-personal: Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide: CLIN0001: Upgrade of Dunham Bush 110 ton Chiller, Model No. ACWC1105CQ, Serial No. 503402D96B; CLIN0002: Installation; CLIN0003: Maintenance. The new chiller will need to provide reliable operate and temperature control, be able to interface with the Trane Control System, and have condenser coil fins for corrosion resistance. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 333412 with a business size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of the determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
