Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Florida Integrated Science Center (FISC) in St. Petersburg, FL, plans to make a non-competitive award via written request for quotation No. 06ER57-No Solicitation number to Newton Seating Company, Inc., Jacksonville, FL for the purchase of Metal Lab Furniture. The purchase of this furniture from Newton Seating Co. will insure compatibility with the existing system as well as allow for interchangeability of parts when and if required. Benches, tables and cabinets to be installed in new radiochemistry and biology laboratories for third building of USGS FISC, St. Petersburg. FL. Metal Lab furniture to include: Layout and Sizes per Drawings, Metal Cabinets to have Flush-Inset Styling, Recessed ABS Plastic Door/Drawer Pulls, S/S 5-Knuckle Hinges, 1" Black Epoxy Resin Tops, Sinks & Pegboards, Polished Chrome Laboratory Faucets & Fixtures, 5' Concept? Fume Hood Similar to Existing Hoods, Color Selections & Approved Drawings Required prior to Order, (14) Lab Stools & (3) Lab Chairs, Tank racks and spill trays included, One extra epoxy top 78" x 24", Non-Mechanical Labor and Installation, Ready for Piping and Final Connections by Others. The U.S. Geological Survey anticipates awarding this to Newton Seating CO., 2344 Harper Street, Jacksonville, FL. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The anticipated award date is 08/03/2006, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. Delivery is required by 10/03/2006. NAICS is 339111. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
