Description

Solicitation for the possible standardization of an Arthroscopy Shaver System and supplies. These products include, but are not limited to, a complete product line of an Arthroscopy Shaver System equipment and supplies. Those companies interested i n a possible Regional Incentive Agreement (discounted DAPA pricing based on volume) with TRICARE Northwest Region must respond to the following questions: Clinical Criteria: Describe if the console is programmable and what features it has. Describe the handpiece. Is it hand held with finger control or other? What speeds and operating modes are available? Can the handpiece be steam autoclaved? Describe how the blades and burrs are inserted and removed and any special features that are unique or make these functions easy. Provide a listing of the blades and burrs that are available with your system. Does your system have the capability to support both small and large joint procedures? Technical Criteria: 1. Does your equipment meet AAMI standards? 2. Does your company manufacture or distribute arthroscopy shavers and supplies? 3. What brands of Shaver and blades does your company manufacture and/or distribute? Describe your product line for burrs/blades and any new products that enhance arthroscopic surgical techniques. 4. Does your company have a toll free number for customer questions? 5. Does your company have product representatives for each facility account? 6. Does your company have a clinical education program for customers? Please elaborate. 7. Does your company have a Distribution agreement with Cardinal Healthcare? 8. Does your company currently possess a DAPA (Distribution and Pricing Agreement)? Please provide the DAPA number. 9. Is your company large enough to satisfy product needs for the entire TRICARE Northwest Region (Washington and Alaska) 10. Does your company have a return goods policy? 11. Has your company had an issue with recalls and/or back orders of product 12. Are your products suitable for use in a field setting 13. Aside from capital purchase, what other acquisition programs might your company offer? 14. What kind of warranty programs does your company provide for your shavers? 15. What turnaround time does your company have for handpieces needing repair?
