Description
This is a Sources Sought advertisement only. No solicitation exists. The Government intends to procure on an unrestricted basis a One-Phase Design Build contract for Family Housing at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. Work shall include the demolition of a pproximately 160 existing Capehart housing units, curbs, sidewalks & pavements to accommodate a new family housing master plan. Existing overhead electrical, telephone and cable TV systems are to be removed and new systems will be provided. This process will involve the Whole House replacement of up to 146 family housing units at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Goldsboro, North Carolina. The housing units will be a combination of two and four bedroom Junior NCO and three and four bedroom Senior NCO, in a mix of single family and duplex and or town home designs, with garages. Construction will be slab on grade, brick veneer accents with vinyl siding, vinyl windows. Modular construction is allowable. Interested firms have 14 days from the publication of this synopsis to prepare for the Industry Forum on June 01, 2006 at 10:00 a.m at the following address: Hampton Inn, 905 North Spence Avenue, Goldsboro, NC 27534. The government will make a presentat ion of the requirements and will answer questions regarding this design build project.
