Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, AK intends to award a sole source purchase order to Siemens Medical to purchase a maintenance agreement for a Somatom Sensation 4 Advanced CT Volume Zoom Scanner and four (4) Sequoia Functional Locations. This purchase will be made under FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13.5 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 1 October 2006. This notice is nether a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
