Description: The Bureau of Labor Statistics intends to enter into a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures with Vertex Inc., 1041 Old Cassatt Road, Berwyn, PA 19312-1151, to provide sales tax rate file solution service agreement from August 01, 2006 through July 31, 2007. Vertex is the data source for the entire sales tax component of the official Consumer Price Index. It is the only comprehensive source identified to date for sales tax data at the state and local level. Total cost for this requirement will NTE $11,385.00. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. There is no RFP notice.
