Description

Replacement of two (2) Air Handlers in the Burlington Federal Building in Burlington, Vermont. Demolition, alterations and construction work are required to replace existing AHU-5A and AHU-5 equipment with AHU-11 and 12 equipment, removal of abandoned equipment including ductwork, piping , controls and balancing in an occupied federal building. Work is to be performed through the hours in the evening (6:00pm to 6:00am). The NAICS code is 238220. The Small Business Size Standard is 12.0 million dollars. This project is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Performance and Payment bonds of 100% will be required under this contract. Estimated project cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated posting date of this IFB will be on or about 08/04/06. The walk-thru visit will be on or about 08/16/06 and the bid opening will be on or about 09/06/06.
