- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD) is tasked with identifying and exploring emerging C4ISR technologies to enhance the performance of diverse systems for their military or intelligence utility. This includes evaluation of current state of the art technologies and research, prototype development, and integration of new technologies. The proposed contract action is for 1 base year (12 months) and 2 one-year options. The intended contract number is N66001-06-D-0114. The total estimated amount of this action is NTE $3 Million, including Options. The Government intends to award a sole-source cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) contract to AUSGAR Technologies for this effort. This support is urgently needed to continue certification and support of the Emerging Systems and Technologies (EST) project. This is a one-time procurement, with no anticipated follow-on effort required. AUSGAR, a Small Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is uniquely qualified to perform this effort. AUSGAR is uniquely qualified in the integration and test of technology for the EST project, and has previously supported the initial development of documents necessary for the DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) and DISN Security Accreditation Working Group (DSA WG) SABI CDS approval process. AUSGAR has the necessary expertise to support the necessary efforts of this requested action that includes NSA Information System Security Engineering Professional (NSA ISSEP), NSA Information Security Professional, Microsoft Certified Personnel, CISCO Certified Professional and Certified Information System Security Professionals (CISSP)-certified engineers. AUSGAR has unique expertise and knowledge in supporting integration and interoperability for shore and afloat experimental initiatives and Fleet modeling and simulation programs, and in providing assessment, testing and evaluation of emerging C4ISR systems and related technologies as they apply to operational utility, including getting Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI) Cross Domain Solution (CDS) approvals for wired and wireless environments. AUSGAR has been supporting SSCSD in the integration/test of software and integrating hardware in order to integrate emerging systems and technology into fleet/joint capability. Support from AUSGAR based on prior extensive Joint program experience, DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) and DISN Security Accreditation Working Group (DSA WG) SABI CDS approval process, demonstrated experience in Navy Laboratory C4ISR, and unique experience in advanced C4ISR technologies meets the time-critical requirements of EST. Questions concerning this effort should be addressed to madelynn.whittington@navy.mil.
