Description

17. The Navy intends to issue a firm fixed-price order under Globecomm Systems, Inc. BPA W91RUS-04-A-0012 to procure on a sole source basis fifty (50) 1.2M MVSAT Avl 1278K Antenna, Positioner, ERA Precision Feed, Pallet (NAVAIR Configuration procured under prototype contract with modifications to include manual polarization feature, serial BUC I/F, new leg design; handle mod). Systems include RF Electronics, Outdoor Enclosure Assembly, Indoor Electronics, and Miscellaneous Integration Materials. Only Globecomm?s system meets the Governments need for a polarization feature, serial BUC I/F, and communication capabilities from either a fixed or portable command facility. This system must be deployable via ground transportation and must be rapidly deployed and operational in a short time frame. This system will not be dependent on commercial power or communications providers. The required delivery date for these masts is 16 Nov 2006 and are to be shipped to to CACI Systems, Lexington Park, MD 20653. No telephone responses will be accepted.
