Description

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to rehab the fire protection system at Bldg. 1669, USCG Air Station Barbers Point, Kapolei, Hawaii. Work includes replacement of existing fire sprinkler system and the underground supply line. Install a one-hour fire wall between the existing supply office, mail room, and weight room from the warehouse to meet fire separation requirements for warehouses and replace existing conventional fire alarm system with a new addressable fire alarm system. This solicitation is a best value source selection. Offers will be evaluated on price, past performance, and qualifications of key personnel. THE WORK SHALL BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN 240 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF THE NOTICE TO PROCEED. This procurement is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. This office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead they may be accessed at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Offerors should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely on this website. This solicitation can be downloaded from http://www.fbo.gov on/about July 27, 2006. If it does not appear on that day, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is presently August 29, 2006. This date is estimated and may change. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond.
