- US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, 10 South Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21203. This is a Sources Sought Announcement and is for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. The U. S. Army Corps of Eng ineers, Baltimore District, desires to identify 8(a), Hub-zone certified businesses, Women-owned business, Veteran-owned and Service-Disabled contractors capable of providing construction services in connection with the construction of a structure to provi de secondary sterilization capability for liquid bio-contaminant waste generated by nearby existing and future United States Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) Laboratories located at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Harford County Maryland. The estimated cost range for projects included in this sources sought is more than $10,000,000.00. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of t he responses to this announcement, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisitions, solicitation announcements will be published in the Federal Business Opportunity for the respective projects. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABE. Al l interested offerors will have the opportunity to respond to solicitation announcements at a later time. Responses should include: (1) Identification of company as 8(a), Hub-zone certified business, Women-owned business, Veteran-owned and/or Service-Dis abled with inclusion of SBA certificate; (2) maximum bonding capacity for a single project and aggregate. This notice is to assist the Baltimiore District, Corps of Engineers in determining potential sources only. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited.
