- Description
- The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: 1) Six Sigma Training for 10 people; 7 people to be certified as Green Belts and 3 as Black Belts. Training must include certification of achievement level (i.e. green or black belt). Course may be held at the USCG, Baltimore, MD or at a nearby (Baltimore Metro area) vendor site. If site is proposed at the USCG, training is normally held 8:00 ? 4:30 (8 hr day) and PC workstations with Xp & MS Office and classroom set up will be provided by the USCG. Quotation shall include all travel costs, applicable course material including books, any additional software and or other items required to complete the task. Length of training to be determined by offeror based on the timeframe required to certify applicants. The schedule of training for the green and black belt to be proposed by the offeror. The training will begin Oct. or Nov. 2006. Lunches and refreshments are not required. If furnishing resumes, include only those of actual instructors for this task. Quotations will be evaluated on the following criteria: 1) Capability/expertise/process of final certification of applicants 2) Past Six Sigma Training given 3) Results of Six Sigma Training (successes) given including references, POC?s, Phone Numbers and also testimonials, press releases, tabular summaries, etc. 4) Price. Award will be made to the highest rated offeror with the lowest price. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, FAC 2001-27 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation Number is HSCG40-06-Q-6TR001. Quotations must be received by 7 August 2006 @ 2:00 Local Time. The company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number must be provided. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.
