Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is Q8564060513 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-1, dated July 6, 2006. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System Code is 423320 and the small business size is 100 employees. THE FOLLOWING ITEM DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERY APPLIES: Job Site: Located on the General Highway in Sequoia National Park, 14 miles south of the junction of Highway 180 in Kings Canyon National. Job Description: Resurface .5 mile section of Generals Highway at Lost Grove. Product: Hot Mix Asphalt AR 4000 ? inch aggregate Total Quantity: 850 Tons Delivery Location: Lost Grove Parking lot Delivery Quantity: 200-300 tons per day Delivery Time: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday Delivery Temperature of Asphalt: Between 250F to 285F Delivery Method: Asphalt Loads must be covered and capable of transferring to Paver by end Dump. VENDOR EVALUATION: The government will evaluate the quotations based on references, price, and delivery dates. Price is the most important. Include in the RFQ at least two references of projects of similar size. Include the job title, recipients name, size of project, contact name and phone number. If you cannot meet the exact delivery dates mentioned above also include closes dates you will be able to make the necessary deliveries. QUOTES ARE DUE: Quotes are due for this combined synopsis/solicitation on August 8, 2006 at 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight time and shall be delivered by the specified time to the National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, 47050 Generals Hwy, Three Rivers, CA 93271, ATTN Contracting Office: RFQ #Q8564060513. Facsimile Quotations are acceptable with all required documentation at 559-565-3700. No oral quotations will be accepted. Quoters must furnish the company name, DUNS number, TIN Number, address, phone and fax number, email address if available, and official point of contact.
