This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is Q8564060513 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-1, dated July 6, 2006. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System Code is 423320 and the small business size is 100 employees. THE FOLLOWING ITEM DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERY APPLIES: Job Site: Located on the General Highway in Sequoia National Park, 14 miles south of the junction of Highway 180 in Kings Canyon National. Job Description: Resurface .5 mile section of Generals Highway at Lost Grove. Product: Hot Mix Asphalt AR 4000 ? inch aggregate Total Quantity: 850 Tons Delivery Location: Lost Grove Parking lot Delivery Quantity: 200-300 tons per day Delivery Time: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday Delivery Temperature of Asphalt: Between 250F to 285F Delivery Method: Asphalt Loads must be covered and capable of transferring to Paver by end Dump. If you cannot meet the exact delivery dates mentioned above also include closes dates you will be able to make the necessary deliveries.
