Description

The Bureau of Reclamation , Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Holz Consulting, 528 S. Alkire St., Lakewood, CO 80228-2504. This purchase order is for specialized consultation services necessary to support the on-going work that Reclamation is performing for the feasibility study and NEPA compliance for the proposed Santa Margarita River Conjunctive Use Project (Project). Reclamation holds the water rights permits from the State and has been working with Camp Pendleton and the Fallbrook Public Utilities District on perfecting those rights in order to ensure that future water needs are met. Mr. Holz has 36 years of federal experience. He was the manager directly responsible for Reclamation's Resource Management and Planning Group at the Technical Service Center (TSC) in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Holz has been directly involved with the Santa Margarita River Conjunctive Use Project that is centered on engineering, design data collection, layout of alternative project plans, completion of feasibility design work, Permit 15000 perfection/renewal strategy development, and related hydrological and economic analyses. His direct knowledge of the issues of the Project has provided him a thorough understanding of the required effort needed to complete the study. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is July 24, 2006.
