- SOL: VA-261-06-RQ-0077 Due: July 31, 2006 Request for Quote (RFQ) - Vantage SE Special Order Laser, Option 10. This will be a sole-source procurement for the Research Dept., VA Palo Alto Health Care System, due to urgent and compelling issues. The machine this unit is attached to is currently inoperative and work is at a standstill. This will be a combined synopsis-solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 will be used in conjunction with commercial items procedures of FAR Part 12. The NAICS code is 334516, size standard of 500 employees applies. Product Service code of 6640 applies. The actual solicitation should be posted on or about July 14, 2006. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. This is a one time procurement, delivery is requested as soon as possible. Electronic solicitation may be accessed at no cost at www.fedbizopps.gov . Any amendment issued against this solicitation will also be available from the same URL addresses. Contractor is responsible for submitting all documents required in accordance with the solicitation, including any amendments which will be posted on this website. Solicitation is also subject to availability of funding. Price includes all parts and labor to repair any failure due to a manufacturer or installation defect; and one site visit during the warranty period for service or repair. Quotations shall be submitted on an all or nothing basis. Partial quotations will be rejected. Quotations shall be valid for 60 days from offer due date.
