Description
The FAA intends to solicit and award a contract for the replacement of a Doppler VHF Omni-Directional Radio Range (DVOR) Facility at Wittman Regional Airport, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: (1) Fabrication and installation of a galvanized steel extended Doppler counterpoise. (2) Installation of concrete pier foundations for the counterpoise. (3) Removal of existing VOR antennas and cabling. (4) Miscellaneous grounding, electrical and civil work as detailed on the drawings. The estimated performance time is 75 calendar days, with an anticipated start date of November 1, 2006. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $100,000 and $500,000. NAICS is 237990. Interested firms must fill out and submit the attached Screening Information Request Application along with pertinent required information and mail to Irene Medina, FAA, AGL-51, 2300 East Devon Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60018 by August 10, 2006.
