- Presolicitation Notice N62306-06-Q-7038 This presolicitation notice for commercial items is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures, and FAR 19 Small Business Programs. Solicitation N62306-06-Q-7038 will be issued as a Request for Quotation. This is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business procurement under NAICS 334511 nautical systems and instruments manufacturing. The requirement is in accordance with the government?s Salient Characteristics for Chirp Sub-bottom Profiler, to include a compputer workstation and underwater tow vehicle (towfish). The system shall contain all the necessary components to acquire, display, and record Chirp sub-bottom data. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation and all quotations received by the closing date specified in the solicitation will be considered by the agency. The solicitation is expected to post on the NECO web site http://www.neco.navy.mil/index.cfm on or about 19 July 2006. To be considered, the quotation must meet the agency?s requirements as specified in the Salient Characteristics and must be accompanied by any additional information requested. See numbered note 1.
