Description

The National Business Center on behalf of the Office of Special Trustee for American Indians (OST),, Office of Appraisal Services intends to award a sole source Purchase order to AgWare, Inc., 111 Pine Street, Piedmont, SD 57769 pursuant to 41 U.SC 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" (NAICS number applicable for this requirement is 541511). The requirement is to provide AgWare UAAR Agricultural Appraisal Software, maintenace and technical support. AgWare is considered to be the only responsible source capable of providing this software due to the proprietary nature of the product. Responsible sources may submit concise documentaion for consideration regarding their ability to provide the required software. However this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Furthermore, no contract award will be made on the basis of information received in response to this notice and the Government will not pay any costs incurred to provide information to this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Such information, if submitted should be directed to the attention of the Purchasing Agent as the address listed above. If no written responses advantageous to the Government are received within one (1) calendar day from the publication of this notice, AgWare will be solicited, pursuant to FAR 12.203 to provide the required services. If a competitive solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
