Description

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Albuquerque, New Mexico is requesting bids on solicitation number 201816B004 to furnish all materials and effort to remove 7 existing vertical inline well pumps including motor, controls, discharge head, bowl unit, column pipe, line shaft and pump screen; video tape condition of the inside of well casing using submersible camera (copy of video tape to be furnished to Bosque del Apache NWR; reinstall new complete pump units including column pipe, line shaft, pump screen, bowl unit, discharge head, bearing spiders with bearings (product lube), 240 volt 3 phase motor and new well control box. 1 of these 7 wells is diesel driven and will require a diesel irrigation power unit with new right angle gear head and connecting drive line instead of electric motor and control box. The project is located approx. 13 miles south of San Antonio, New Mexico, on Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, Socorro County, San Antonio, New Mexico. The estimated price magnitude is $100,000 to $250,000. The total performance period is expected to be 30 calendar days or less. Bid evaluation and award will be on firm fixed price, low bid, responsive and responsible contractor. The project is solicited unrestricted full and open competition. Both small and large businesses are invited to submit bids. We anticipate a pre bid site investigation to be held the week starting August 14, 2006.
