Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Philadelphia intends to procure on a sole source basis, software updates to include ea. of VA SmallTalk 7.0 Upgrade tech support including VA Assist Pro and Widget Kit Controls; 17 ea. Window Builder Pro upgrade tech support; 5 ea. Widget Kit Builder Graphic upgrade tech support; 5 ea. Widget Kit Pro upgrade technical support along with tech support for 12 months from the manufacturer, Instantiations, Inc. The software upgrades are required in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Experimentation (J9) Directorate located in Suffolk, VA. This requirement constitutes a sole source acquisition with Instantiations, Inc. because the required upgrades to the existing software licenses are proprietary commercial software developed by Instantiations, and only Instantiations has access to the source code and documentation necessary to provide the upgrades. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
