Description: The US Department of the Interior, the National Park Service, Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park is soliciting proposals from qualified Small Business firms for a firm-fixed price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required to: Renovate Fire and Intrusion Alarm Systems at the Visitor Center/Headquarters Building located in Johnson City, Texas. The NAICS code for this project is 238210 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. In accordance with FAR subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a "Best Value" procurement: the Government will consider an offeror's capability (technical expertise and past performance) in comparison to the offered price, with price equal in importance to the offeror's capability. In addition to price, offerors will be evaluated on the following: 1. Experience in renovation of fire and intrusion alarm systems; 2. project management; and 3. past performance on similar projects. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested and qualified parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation.
